Esta foi uma manifestção de apoio ao povo do Irão e na condenação dos graves abusos aos direitos humanos que estão a ser cometidos pelo governo Iraniano, apelando por:

1 - Direitos Humanos e Civis para o povo do Irão;

2 - O fim do abuso de poder – das detenções, das torturas, das mortes;

3 - Solidariedade para com o povo do Irão. Aos nossos irmãos e irmãs Iranianos: Nós ouvimos as vossas vozes, vocês não estão sozinhos!

Esta foi uma manifestação pacífica e apartidária pelos direitos humanos no Irão.

Esta manifestação fez parte da Acção Global que, no mesmo dia, aconteceu em mais de 100 cidades de todo o Mundo.

Algumas palavras dos organizadores:

- Nós fizemos esta acção porque vimos que ninguém ia fazer nada em Lisboa/Portugal neste "Dia Global de Acção". A Amnistia Internacional Portugal fez uma acção online que merece todo o nosso reconhecimento, mas nós achamos importante fazer uma manifestação tal como nas outras mais de 100 cidades do Mundo.

- Nós eramos/somos poucos: só 2 (dois) a tempo inteiro (dia e noite)! Nós não tinhamos experiência neste tipo de acções. Só tivemos 5 dias para fazer tudo. Pedimos ajuda a outras pessoas e instituições e "só" conseguimos a ajuda esporádica (mas preciosa) de meia-dúzia de amigos, a quem estamos muito gratos.

Pedimos que te juntes a nós no apoio ao povo do Irão e na condenação dos graves abusos aos direitos humanos que estão a ser cometidos pelo governo Iraniano, apelando por:

Global Day of Action July 25 - United for Iran

Demonstration in Lisboa

Largo Camões, Saturday, July 25, 5:00 - 7:00 pm

In support of the Iranian people and in condemnation of the abuses being committed by the Iranian government we ask you to join us and stand together for:

1 - Civil and human rights for the people of Iran;

2 - Stopping the abuse of power – the imprisonment, torture and killing;

3 - Solidarity with the Iranian people. To our Iranian brothers and sisters: We have heard your voices, and you are not alone!

This is a peaceful and non-political demonstration for the human rights in Iran.

This is part of the Global Action that will take place on the same day in more than 100 cities around the world (Tokyo, São Paulo, Paris, Melbourne, New York, Bishkek,…): http://united4iran.org/.
